In May 2018 the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) enters into force and the current company databases could become useless. The number of enquiries from clients and employees about processing their personal data will grow significantly. Fines for a data breach can be up to 20 million euros or 4% of the organization’s global turnover, whichever is greater. GDPR is the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years – it affects all companies dealing with data of EU citizens and all of their functions.
On the 10th May we organized Cyber Security Summit, discussing GDPR and other current IT security topics from business processes perspective; giving CEOs, chief financial managers, and ICT managers a better understanding of the GDPR related changes, planning, and preparation. Business leaders, GDPR experts, lawyers, technology leaders and visionaries had the stage.
Based on the Summit’s feedback and recommended by several clients, we are launching a wide range of courses in Security Software GDPR Academy. The courses are suitable for business leaders and decision makers, IT professionals, and data protection officers, as well as all employees whose job involves processing and storing personal data.
